Fluff Vendor Fixes v1.0.1
Fixes for ‘fluff’ vendors (small, side, unmarked vendors): Leaving the area after interacting no longer nukes their stock/money. Drinks vendors now have name/stock.
Basics:
Fixes for ‘fluff’ vendors (small, side, unmarked vendors):
– Missing Money/Stock after leaving:
If you shopped at one of the fluff vendors, and then left the area/district, then returning to the same vendor would have 0 money, and no stock/inventory.This is fixed by the redscript part of the mod.
– Missing Vendor Name – never any stock:
Some fluff vendors never had any money/stock, and their vendor panel displayed as ‘Missing Vendor Name’.This is fixed by the TweakXL part of the mod
Compatibility:
The redscript edit is a wrapper, so is compatible with other mods that may touch the same function.
Languages:
Mod has no language/text components, so works for all localization.
Installation:
Unzip the main zip into “Cyberpunk 2077” folder so that the:
FluffVendorFixes folder and .reds file ends up in the “Cyberpunk 2077\r6\scripts”
FluffVendorFixes folder and .yaml file ends up in the “Cyberpunk 2077\r6\tweaks”
Uninstall:
Simply delete the FluffVendorFixes folders from “Cyberpunk 2077\r6\scripts” and “Cyberpunk 2077\r6\tweaks”
Limitations and bugs
The ‘Missing Vendor Name’ vendors could appear at any type of fluff vendor, as such some of the new “Street Vendors” may appear to ask about ‘What have you got to drink?’, ‘What have you got to eat?’ rather than something more generic/neutral: There’s no real fix for this.
I’ve tested it on several different fluff vendors, as well as non-fluff vendors, around Night City. Any issues please use the Bugs tab
