Chris Chan Texture Overhaul
CWCVille – City of Dreams
This mod replaces various textures with Chris Chan related edits/images. This includes posters, advertisements, Johnny’s Samurai jacket and tank top, and even some UI elements.
As if Cyberpunk 2077’s vanilla adverts weren’t repulsive enough.
This mod is far from finished. Many textures have currently been replaced, but I’m still far from done. The goal is to replace every advert and poster in the game, maybe some other textures. This mod has been released early in… celebration… of Chris Chan’s birthday.
INSTALLATION
Simply drag “basegame_cwcoverhaul.archive” into “Cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\patch”
DO NOT drag the file into “Cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\common”
If the patch folder doesn’t exist, create it.
To uninstall, just remove “basegame_cwcoverhaul.archive”.
TO-DO LIST
– Replace remaining adverts
– Replace remaining posters
– Replace vending machine textures
– Wearable striped red/blue shirt and Sonichu medallion
KNOWN ISSUES
– Dancing Chris texture on the crosswalk’s “Walk” phase will sometimes show the vanilla game’s arrow texture instead. Can be fixed by reloading a save.
– Some advert textures, at certain distances, will show vanilla ads until you move closer to them.
