Say Hi Choom v1.2.1

Adds greetings when V visits NPCs.

Now, when visiting friends and fixers V will say hi, and characters will respond, or they may greet V first.

Did you find it unnatural that when visiting characters, they just stay silent, just like V? This mod fixes that and brings both the NPCs and V to life. This mod was inspired by Say Something Damn It by anygoodname, and it’s highly recommended to use them together. Now you will have a full experience of live interaction between V and NPCs.

What mod does:
When visiting a characters (NPCs), V will say “Hey”. If it’s evening, V will say “Evening”.
NPCs when see V will say “Hey V” or other lines.
When visiting a specific NPC, V may say, for example, “Hey, Judy”, i.e. adding the character’s name.
Greetings variations are randomized and some focused on specific characters. Also it may be that V will not respond to make it less repetative.
NPCs who already had greeting lines when V visits them now have additional ones.
Besides voicelines mod also adds rare animation to V – wave hand, which will play randomly.
Improvements and fixes in scenes. (Added missing subtitles and lipsync animations for voicelines. Padre now will look at V when he/she approaches him. Replaced inappropriate voiceline with Judy. And so on.)

The mod adds greetings to:
Viktor
Misty
Judy
Panam
River
Kerry
Saul
Mitch
Wilson
Coach Fred
Fixers:
Wakako
Regina
Padre

Languages:
This mod supports all languages including voicelines and subtitles from original localizations. Original lipsync animations were added manually.

Compatibility:
The mod was developed and tested on 2.31 game version but should work on lower ones as well.

This is a file replacer type mod and it edits default characters scenes and lipsync files.

There are quite a few mods that change the same files. Therefore, the mods will not be compatible and will overwrite each other. You can either change the mod priority, in which case the same mod file with a lower priority will not work (only file, not mod itself). Or I can make them compatible, but not in the usual sense. I will have to add both graphic and other implementations to the scene file. And make it so that this so-called patch overwrites both this mod and other mods that change this file, giving it the highest priority. I understand that this sounds complicated, unclear, and inconvenient. But this is a scene replacer mod. There is no other way. I don’t know how to make a similar mod that allows you to add voicelines not only to V, but also to other NPCs, and even lipsync animations without touching characters default scenes.

Mod adds voicelines from other scenes and doesn’t change wem files so it is compatible with all voice mods.

Say Something Damn It – compatible
Responsive V – compatible
Immersive V Dialogue Expanded – compatible
Talk about Jackie – merged
* Compatible means that mods works together without issues and overwritings.
* Incompatible means that mods edits same file and one will overwrite each other (only same files, not mods themself). So to solve incompatibility rename archive file name of this mod to change priority (laod order). By default this mod has higher priority and overwrites most mods.
