Lets face it. It’s a pain in the nether region when you come across a bit of junk, weapon or some other object you want that is either out of reach or embedded in another object or wall/ground. With this mod, you can grab hold of an object and move it to where you like.
Let’s get one thing straight up front. NOT ALL OBJECTS ARE MOVABLE! Some objects, if moved, can break the game. Please use at your own risk. NPC occupied vehicles will just snap back to where they are meant to be after releasing them. NPC’s can’t be moved unless they are dead. Yes, you can move the grabbed object through the ground or other objects. Some objects will get smashed up. This can be a smashing great time! If you wander away too far from where you found the object while grabbing it, it can disappear and go back to where it originally was.
To use… Assign a hotkey to activate and deactivate the mod (Grab Enable under the CET Hotkeys tab.). This helps prevent accidentally shifting an object. Place the blue aiming dot over an object and then press and hold the ‘E’ (This is whatever your “PickUpBodyFromTakedown” key is.). Move the view around to move the object. Release the ‘E’ key to let go of the object. You can assign a key to Identify if you wish. It is not hugely useful, but it will print the object ID on the CET console of the object under the crosshair. If the ID is NIL, then the object isn’t movable. On my system, I have 6 key assigned to Grab Enable and Q assigned to Identify.
This mod requires Cyber Engine Tweaks.
Installation
Unzip the release zip file to your main Cyberpunk 2077 game folder or use your favourite mod manager to do it for you.
This mod script will be installed in the Cyber Engine Tweaks mods folder.
Uninstallation
Delete the “ObjectMover” folder from “Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods”.
